Junefest 2025

This festival is one that's near and dear to the hearts of all who have cherished time with an elder at Our Haven. Named for our matriarch's mother, June, we have held reverence on this day for ancestors. This year, our 25th in hosting, we plan to make it a four day festival rooted in land and lore—where community is the spell, and you are part of the story.

Location and Site Details

Midsummer fairy feast with crafts, tea, charcuterie, and enchantment in the woods. Fairyopolis.

What to Expect

Our amenities are rustic and primitive, with portable toilets and open-air showers available as well as an electrified pavilion for you to charge your devices.

While we have no running water except the showers— we do have a water pump. If that's not your thing, bring plenty for yourself!

The cell service is spotty—plan to disconnect and ground in when you visit.

Please bring enough cash to cover firewood, unless you prepay on PayPal. You may also want to barter, buy, or participate in the auction at the festival.

Pets must have records on file in advance, and are not permitted at festivals.

Shared meals, art, games, and co-creation to strengthen the village.

Why Co-Creation Matters

This festival isn’t something you attend. It’s something you build.

At Junefest, there’s no backstage—just all of us, creating something beautiful together. Every altar placed, path cleared, fire lit, and dish shared is part of the magic.

You don’t need to know anyone to belong. You just need to show up with intention.

Queer joy, drag, poetry, and pride rituals rooted in nature and spirit.

Why Junefest Matters

Because you belong here. Because the land needs love. Because your story matters. Because community is the strongest magic of all.

Whether you come to feast, frolic, teach, or tend—we can’t wait to welcome you home.

Is Junefest LGBTQ+ Inclusive?

Fiercely.

Pride Day is a highlight of our gathering, but our values of radical inclusion, body sovereignty, and spiritual freedom are woven through every day. Queer, trans, and nonbinary folks are not only welcome—they are centered, celebrated, and protected here.

Five days of celebration, mischief, magic, and meaning

5-day pagan celebration with ritual, pride, fairy magic, food, and firelight.

Reverence Day | June 25

The Roots Remember.

We begin with grounding.

A sacred day to honor the land, our ancestors, our elders, and the stories that brought us here. You'll be invited to participate in storytelling circles and legacy blessings, tend the trails, plant together, and co-create a land mandala, as well as join in song, chant, and silent sit spots under the trees. We also invite you to walk the Living Library—where wisdom lives in people, not pages.

Community Day | June 26

The Heart Beats Here.

This is a day for gathering, sharing, laughing, and building something beautiful together.

We're hosting skillshares and having several potlucks over the course of the event, but make sure to bring something special for Community Day's lunch & games extravaganza for all ages! We'll have music circles, interactive art, drumming, dancing, and a Community Swap/Market! So bring any items to offer for the swap or auction, the more the merrier!

Want to help on-site? Volunteer your work hours! Message our Facebook page to get started!

Pride Day | June 27

We Are Proud. We Are Many.

Join us in uplifting and celebrating our LGBTQIA+ community through joy, ritual, and remembrance. At Our Haven, Pride is a promise—of safety, joy, and radical acceptance.

We plan on having our very own Pride Parade through the grounds, followed-up by holding space for queer poetry & storytelling. At the end of the day, we'll have an evening vigil to honor queer ancestors and future liberation.

Fairyopolis: The Frolic & Feast | June 28

One Day. Infinite Magic.

Our main event. For one enchanted adventure, the veil thins and Our Haven becomes Fairyopolis.

Are you ready for creek-side charcuterie and color-shifting magical teas?

Once you've had your fill of the barefoot banquet, you can enjoy some whimsical crafts for all ages. Along the paths you'll find stations to paint stones, craft fairy offerings, and dance with pixies! You'll also find ample opportunity to relax in teepees, sip mystic blends, or slip into fairy disguise as the night unfolds! Wings, crowns, mossy cloaks, and barefoot wonder encouraged! Step through the veil to dress up, dress down, wear wings or whimsy—just don’t hold back your magic.

We'll have activities for the wee fair folk, too!

How to Participate

This festival is powered by its people. You can sign up to help with kitchen work, setup, crafts, fire keeping, kids' activities, and more. Each hour of work earns you 12 Credits, each worth $1 toward your entry or purchases. Volunteer before or during the event!

What's included?

Camping is included in your entry. Bring what you need, share what you can, and check our posts for schedules, packing suggestions, and FAQs. Bring your own gear, bedding, and supplies. The site is rustic—please pack out what you pack in.

There will be a vendor area, auction, potluck meals, fire circles, and space to simply rest and reconnect.

And remember, this is a co-created festival! Junefest is not something we consume—it’s something we grow together.

Whether you come to dance or dig, to feast or to teach, to sing or to rest... you are welcome here.
